n     Erikoglu Emaye – SCM Project:  (Business: Wire and Cable Industry)

Involved in this first SCM Project in wire and cable industry as a PP/DS consultant.

o        PP/DS Consultant 

--- Modeling a solution about sequencing the orders in milling machines.

--- Defining the optimization parameters and sequence optimization of the channels of the machines.

--- Running different heuristics (REM Heuristics)  to solve sector specific constraints like filling all the channels of the machines which uses the same oven at the same time.

n     PASABAHCE (World’s second largest glassware company) – Everest Project:  (Business: Glassware Industry)

Involved in full cycle APO project (SCM 4.1). DP, SNP and PP/DS modules are implemented and have participated in all these modules.

o        Demand Planning: Lead Consultant 

--- Existing demand management business process is analysed. Plane for establishing the demand is determined and, a business cycle is created for demand planning including timelines for periodic meetings.

--- Separate planning areas containing key figures with different disaggregation type are created. According to the business, dataviews are created for forecasting hierarchy – Period decisions

--- Background macros are designed for calculating the value of some key figures. Also, user-exit macros are developed and coded in order to obtain data from the aggregate level and show in detailed level.

--- Historic data analyzed and most suitable characteristic level is determined for statistical forecasting. Forecast methods in the system are run and different forecast errors (MAD, MAPE… etc) are compared for each characteristic level.

--- Separate training sessions are performed at the beginning and end of the project.

--- Multi Cubes and Remote Cubes are created for reporting. Extensive reports are generated in Business Explorer.

o        Supply Network Planning: Lead Consultant

--- Tactical planning: SNP Optimizer is implemented as a solution for Pasabahce. Mould transfers between production plants are optimized in a year accepting budget figures as input. Moulds are fixed to the plants according to the results of the optimization.

--- Operational planning: Non-SAP ERP system integration (Oracle) is established for operational planning. CTM Engine is used for operational planning. For the glassware industry, if the total demand for a mould level is less than 3 days, than all the demands are refused and waited for some other demand for a certain amount of time. In order to fulfill this request, custom programs are coded and the total demand for mould level is calculated and sent to CTM.

o        PP/DS Consultant

--- Following the CTM process, PP/DS optimizer is also run in order to optimize setup cost between moulds, which is very important for glassware industry. Setup groups and keys are designed and created for moulds and setup matrix is formed.

--- In planning board, visual settings, like the texts within graphics, are also designed according to business demand.

 

n     IPRAGAZ (SHV Gas in Turkey – The world LPG leader): (Business: Energy Industry)

Lead consultant in the upgrade project from SCM 3.1 to SCM 4.0.

o        TP / VS Lead Consultant

--- New transportation zone design is modeled during the upgrade. Integration between R/3 system and SCM system reformed and custom reports are generated in order to display the results of TP/VS optimizer. Also, two repairs are coded for excluding some resources according to the current availability of them and for manipulating the results of the optimizer in order to use the least utilized resource in a month among the available resources.

 

n     EFES PILSEN (Turkey’s largest beverage company; Partner of CocaCola Company)– MAP Project: (Business: Food & Drink Industry)

Consultant in full cycle DP and SNP project. First implementation on beverage sector in Turkey.

o        Supply Network Planning Consultant

--- Network model is established and unimportant products are excluded from the SNP model. Suppliers and customers are grouped together and one supplier and customer is created for each region representing all. In existing R/3 system master data for SNP are redesigned and CIFed to SCM system.

--- For each product category different planning procedures are designed to be implemented. Necessary integration processes from demand planning to supply network planning is formed according to product groups.

--- Results of CTM are followed on DS Planning Board and reporting on production, supply and transportation are designed in Business Explorer.

--- SNP Optimization model is created for long term planning. Budget is taken into consideration and production, procurement, transportation, late delivery and non deliver cost are the parameters for the optimizer.

 

n     UNILEVER – Unity Project:   (Business: FMCG Sector)

Leaded a team of 4 consultants in roles and authorizations project.

o        Roles and Authorizations Team Leader

--- Unilever consolidates R/3 systems in EMEA region as the Unity Project. In this project, roles and authorizations are redesigned. Template and real roles are designed and inheritance function is used for each business functionality is created.

--- During the roles and authorizations process detailed process documentation is also created. This documentation detailly explains the procedure for changes in authorizations of users and also necessary roles. Flow diagrams are drowned and periodic reports are stated in the document.

 

n     DURAK Thread International (Business: Textile Industry)

Durak Thread implements SAP ERP system.

o        Logistics Lead & PP Consultant

--- The client required discrete and make-to-order/make-to-stock mixed configuration with finite scheduling to control and plan the production of thread. The main expectation from the project is to correctly identify delivery dates of sales orders while obtaining sustainable ERP system. Custom reports and programs are generated in order to show and fix the pegging relationships in R/3 system.

--- Since the variety of colors is very high, a change in paints affects many bills of materials. Therefore, an easy way to change many bills of materials is created by using phantom materials.

--- Integration between scale and R/3 system, RFID devices and system are established.

 

n     ASELSAN (Turkey’s largest electronics company)– Business Suit Project:  (Business: Defense Industry)

o        PP & PP/DSConsultant

--- Realization and final preparation phases implemented in R/3 project as a PP consultant.

--- Detailed PP customization training to the project team for 10 days is committed.

--- APO PP/DS blueprint prepared aligned with PP implementation.

n    KANCA Forging  – ERP Project:  (Business: Automotive Industry)

o        PP Consultant

--- KANCA manufactures two distinct lines of products, forged (as-forged, semi-finished and finished) parts and hand tools. During PP project, data gathered from EDI evaluated and for short term, production planning performed. Raw material is planned according to campaign periods of steel companies.

--- Long term planning is implemented for simulative purposes.

--- Moulds are followed as material and mould life is taken into consideration during forging planning.
